Lignosulfonates
Sodium Lignosulfonates are by-products of wood pulp manufacturing, spray-dried to produce ligno powder. Because lignins are very complex natural polymers with many random couplings, the exact chemical structure is not known. Physical and chemical properties differ depending on the extraction technology and source of raw material - wood.
Technical characteristics
Technical lignosulfonates - are natural water resistant, sulfo is derivates of lignin, nascent in time of sulphit method of de-lignifications of the wood, i.e. are the sodium salts of lignosulfonate acids with the dirt of mineral and reducing substances. Interest to lignosulfonates is due to the high surface activity, what lets to use these additives in different branches of industry - petroleum, mineral, chemical, pharmacutical, leather tanning, drilling, digging, metallurgy, ad-mixtures manufactures, and concrete foundry.
